You should also know (more by Facebook than my blog) that Lisa's wedding is the end of this month. In addition, Cindy's is the end of May. So my mom is a little stressed. Lisa wasn't able to find dresses to fit all the girls, but found a cute pattern and super cute fabric. I know my mom was wanting to make all the dresses but 3 bridesmaid dresses, 1 maid of honor dress and 2 flower girl dresses on top of all the other stuff she's trying to help with for the wedding was just going to be too much. So last month I asked James's mom if she would be willing and able to make the flower girl dresses for our girls.
She has these whipped out in less than a week. UNBELIEVABLE! The dresses are so cute! Anyway, over one weekend, she got the dresses finished with the exception of strap length and hemming. When she brought the dresses back the next Monday when she returned to help us again (I know, could I ask her for ANYTHING else? I am already indebted for life. Bless her.) she tried them on the girls to pin for final adjustments. She started with Trevy - took her jammies off, put the dress on (Trevy wasn't the most cooperative), pinned the straps and hem, took the dress off and put her jammies back on. Then she put Callie's dress on her - same thing - off with the jammies, on with the dress... Callie is such a princess, she started to dance around right away and said, "Ohhhh, pretty!" Mom got the straps pinned, but nothing on the hem because her model wouldn't hold still. Then she put Callie's jammies on and who should walk up next...?
Landon! He was pulling the zipper down on his jammies. It was so cute! He wanted to try a dress on so badly. We're really not fans of cross-dressing, but he's 2!! And pink is a really good color on him!
