"O" Callie

Can't believe I forgot to write this one!

Trevy had her 3-year visit with the pediatrician a few weeks ago. Yes, she's still about 90th percentile for height and 25th for weight. (She weighs 28 pounds now and is approaching 3 feet tall.)

They are now starting to check kids' eyes at 3 years of age so Trevy got her first vision screening. The nurse asked if she knew her shapes. Yes, but she can do the letters also. We walked into the screening room and it was set up for shape recognition so we went with that. The nurse pulled out a little card with a circle, square, heartish shape and a house outline on it. (This is just so she knows what to expect Trevy to say for each one, not the actual test itself.) She pointed to the circle and asked Trevy to tell her what it was. For some reason, Trevy was being shy and not wanting to say anything.

That is, until Callie helped her out and said, "O". So cute! Made me glad I took the twins along instead of having someone watch them. (We were also able to get flu shots for all 3 kids in one visit. Not fun, but neither is trying to get three kids back to the same place multiple times!)
